The Dirty Turkeys

With a sound they’ve dubbed “Acid Cow Punk,” a gritty fusion of psychedelia, surf, punk, and outlaw country, The Dirty Turkeys deliver a raw, unfiltered take on psychedelic rock. Formed in the fall of 2022, the band emerged from Boulder, Colorado’s basement jam scenes, carving out a sound rooted in late-night sessions between friends. What began as informal jams has evolved into a high-octane touring act headlining stages across the U.S. Fronted by brothers Brad and Russ Hansen and joined by childhood friends Sam Baker and Ty Tullar, the band thrives on deep-rooted chemistry.

In the spring of 2025, The Dirty Turkeys rolled out their debut album Cowboy Caravan, a wild and genre-bending showcase of their sound. They were soon named “Denver's Best Acid Rock Band” and made the list of “Must See Rock Bands of 2025”. 

Drawing inspiration from icons like The Velvet Underground, The Doors, Dick Dale, and The Stooges, The Dirty Turkeys have built a reputation for delivering high-energy, immersive live performances that feel both timeless and on the edge of something new.

Beyond the stage, The Dirty Turkeys are also the co-founders and resident “house band” of The Electric Honey Experience - a vibrant, fast-growing music and arts festival in Utah that recently drew over 1000 attendees in its third year.
